Privacy policy

This policy covers https://overtimeledger.com. Free time card tools are often the front door of payroll software that wants an account and an employer's name. This one was designed to need neither. The publisher is established in France: the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to everything the site does, for every visitor, and residents of US states with a consumer privacy law, California among them, keep at least the rights listed here.

No cookie is set by this site, and the calculators store nothing on your device.

1. Who is responsible

Radif Partners
49 rue du Ressort
63000 Clermont-Ferrand, France
contact@overtimeledger.com

2. What stays in your browser

Your punches, breaks, hourly rate, state, salary or PTO balance: every calculation runs in your own browser. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, and nothing is tied to your identity. The "copy share link" button writes your inputs into the page address so you can send the result to someone; whoever receives the link can read those inputs.

3. What is processed

Hosting logs

Like every web host, GitHub records the IP address, time, page requested and browser type of each request to keep the service secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention follows GitHub's own policy.

Anonymous stability monitoring, without cookies

To find broken pages and scripts, the site loads Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin) in its cookie-free mode: errors, loading times, clicks that lead nowhere and scrolling are measured per page view, without cookies and without linking visits; page content and everything you type are masked. Microsoft receives the technical data of the request, including the IP address. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a working site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object by blocking clarity.ms or by writing to us.

E-mails

If you write to us, we keep your address and message to answer, and delete them three years after the last exchange. You do not need to send your name, your employer's name or a pay stub to report an error.

4. No sale, no sharing, no leads

We do not sell or share personal information, we do not pass anything to employers, payroll vendors or staffing agencies, and we build no profiles. There is no advertising on the site.

5. Recipients and transfers

The host, GitHub, Inc., is in the United States; request data may be processed there under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing, by writing to contact@overtimeledger.com; we answer within one month. You may also complain to the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL) (https://www.cnil.fr).

7. Children

The site is meant for workers, employers and payroll staff. It is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from them.

Estimate only, not legal advice: hours and gross pay before taxes and deductions. The overtime split follows the federal rule or the state rule you pick; union contracts, alternative workweek schedules, exemptions and local ordinances can change it. Check your pay stub against your employer’s written workweek.
