Estimates, not legal advice

Overtime Ledger adds up hours and computes gross pay under federal and state wage-hour rules as published by the agencies cited on each page. It is not a payroll service, a law firm or a government agency. A result on this site creates no obligation for anyone; what you are owed depends on your employment status, your employer's fixed workweek, written agreements and decisions of the competent agency or court. The method and its limits are on the method page.

Liability

Rules are read from official texts and the calculators are tested before each release, yet errors cannot be ruled out and data age. The publisher is not liable for a decision made on an estimate alone. Please report any error through the contact page.

Intellectual property

Texts, design and code belong to the publisher; short quotations with a link back are welcome. Federal statutes, regulations and agency publications quoted on the site are public domain works; state texts are cited with their source.

Embedding

The time card and the military time converter may be embedded for free with their credit link visible: see the embed page.

Personal data

The site sets no cookie and keeps nothing you type in the calculators. Details: privacy policy and cookies page.

Reporting unlawful content

Write to contact@overtimeledger.com with the address of the page.

Governing law

French law applies; failing an amicable settlement, the courts of France have jurisdiction. Updated: 2026-10-11.

Estimate only, not legal advice: hours and gross pay before taxes and deductions. The overtime split follows the federal rule or the state rule you pick; union contracts, alternative workweek schedules, exemptions and local ordinances can change it. Check your pay stub against your employer’s written workweek.
